CKF are a Glaswegian Metal Promo and label that many of us are not exactly fond of. Lack of community, lack of style, insane allegations of being associated with sexual deviants and distributing alcohol to minors, list goes on.
But what happened yesterday, December 12th 2025 should be noted as one of the shittiest thing this group and their bands have ever done; aswell as a constant reminder as why they are not a part of Scotland's Hardcore.
During one of CKF's shows at the Audio Lounge in Glasgow yesterday, many purposefully smashed up the walls inside, leaving holes that demand nothing short of pricey reparation fees. Now, to some this might not be news, CKF has a reputation for stupidly violent shows, but the sheer amount of damage done yesterday specifically shows how "out of their way" the atendees were to ruin the place.
This is not the kind of hole you make from being overweight and getting pushed too hard in the wall, or from accidentally smacking your fist on it. This is from consecutive, repeated and intentional beatings.
When I confronted Harlekin about this photo specifically, the nerve they have to celebrate it, I was met with sheer hostility.
Where was I yesterday? Not attending a show full of divorced beasts. You're "100% certain" that CKF will sort it out? Where's your contribution? You had no problem celebrating this damage and, if fixing up your venue was such a breeze, you should contribute to doing it in any venue you fuck up.
Not to mention, we literally JUST fixed up the Audio Lounge with our fundraiser show not long ago. Now you come and fuck it up again and it's so clear that you don't care.
TLDR: Hardcore shows get violent, it's fully plausible a wall could get broken at SOME point in time; but when this damage is made and when you yourselves admit this has happened before it's a fucking problem.
At the end of the day, all these divorced dads really want are some videos of them doing this so they can look tough. I look forward to CKF fixing this shit up, but it's probably going to have to be us who puts something on to clean up their mess.
Kill CKF, Fuck Harlekin, Long Live Audio Lounge.
